Désirée Rochat is a community educator and transdisciplinary researcher. Guided by an integrative approach linking historical research, preservation of community archives and education, her work aims to document, theorize and transmit the history – and histories – of Black community activism. Rochat is currently a FRQSC Post-doctoral fellow at the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling at Concordia University.
