Next up: 2026 JOAT Festival

The largest street dance festival in the Americas!

For one week, Montreal’s Quartier des spectacles will come alive with the energy of street dance culture. Battles, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, community events, and performances will bring together local and international artists, transforming the city into a must-visit gathering place where dance, music, culture, and community converge.

Festival Highlights

• JOAT’s four signature battles return to Club Soda: Breaking, Hip Hop, JOATKIDZ, and Popping. The guests and judges for each category are being announced in the upcoming weeks!
• Back on Saturday, September 5, 2026, JOATKIDZ shines a light on the next generation of street dance. Young talents aged 10 to 15 will take over the JOAT Festival’s round stage in a high-energy battle driven by creativity and passion.
• Alongside the battles, a wide range of free activities, workshops, and cyphers will animate the Esplanade at Place des Arts throughout the week.
