The JOAT International Street Dance Festival strives to be an open, welcoming, and accessible event for as many people as possible. We want everyone to be able to fully enjoy the festival, regardless of their accessibility needs. ESPLANADE DE LA PLACE DES ARTS
Getting to the site
An accessible entrance is located on the north side of the Esplanade, at 260 De Maisonneuve Boulevard West. A drop-off area is also available there, including for people using adapted transportation.
Reserved Area (Elevated Platform)
An elevated platform is reserved for people with reduced mobility and their companions. A volunteer can accompany you to this area. No reservation is required; spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Accessible Washrooms
Gender-neutral, accessible portable washrooms are available on site.
Sensory Sensitivity
Earplugs are available free of charge at the information booth, while supplies last.
Parking
Accessible parking spaces are available in the Place des Arts indoor parking garage for people with a valid accessible parking permit. For more information, visit the Place des Arts parking page.
ACCESSIBILITY AT OTHER VENUES
CLUB SODA
LClub Soda offers several accessibility measures to help accommodate people with reduced mobility:
- Access to part of the venue directly from street level;
- An accessible washroom located near the box office;
- Designated spaces for wheelchair users, available in limited numbers;
- Front-of-house staff available to guide you to the appropriate area.

The MEM offers, among other accessibility measures:
- Accessible spaces for people with reduced mobility;
- Courtesy wheelchairs;
